Going live

The website is going live! I'm very excited about the new site. It was a lot of hard work (with plenty of expletives thrown in for good measure). I am very pleased with how it has turned out. The Buffalo messageboard has a lot of new functionality, including a chat room and arcade.

Briefly on the chat room, it is hosted by the DarkMyst IRC network. They provide a chat infrastructure for people involved in roleplaying games and interactive fiction. If you need an IRC chatroom for an RPG or interactive story, please consider them. They have excellent services and fast servers. Help their service grow! On that note, they are actively looking for some help. If you can, give them a hand!

The main website, which you are viewing now, is the most radical change. It is a complete social media website, including blogs, groups, files, microblogging, and more! Some functions are connected with other social networking websites. For example, you can post status updates/microblog on the Wire. You can send your Wire posts to your Twitter account. (Go to Settings/Configure My Tools and enter your Twitter account information.) If you Tweet, you can follow us on Twiter as @TPIFiction.

I hope that you enjoy the changes. I think they represent an exciting new phase of life here at arthurslegacy.com.
